Every now and then we take a break from reality and have some family time out. This is one of our most favourite things to do! Who doesn’t like getting away from it all??

OUR FAVOURITE PLACES
These are in no particular order, just places we have visited and would recommend you visiting!
Durdle Door, Dorset
What a place!! Getting to it is pretty tricky, especially with young children, as it’s a lot of walking and lots of steps and steep climbs! Well worth it though! The views are stunning! My husband said he felt like he was on one of the Greek islands. We were told to park at Lulworth Cove and walk there, which is what we did. A lot of walking but 2 stunning places and beautiful views on the way!
Lulworth Cove, Dorset
Wow! We loved this place! Beautiful to look at and fun and interesting to spend time at. I took this picture from the top of a hill you can walk up. We sat on the stones area to the left of this picture and sat looking for fossils, had some lunch and of course our 4 freckled faces favourite; throwing stones in the water!
Padstow, Cornwall
Padstow is a beautiful little harbour town in Cornwall. What is not to love about this place?? Apart from the beautiful views here, you can also enjoy some crabbing, a cute little town area, ice-cream, fish and chips and they often have live music playing too! Parking can be a bit of a pain at the busy holiday times of the year, but well worth it!
