3 Years Of Blogging!

It’s hard to believe that we started this blog 3 years ago today! I have learnt a lot in that time. Blogging is a lot harder and far more time consuming than I thought it was going to be. Unfortunately, I’ve not been able to do it justice and havent done it as well as I had hoped, but we have enjoyed what we have been able to do.

We were looking through some of our earlier posts, which was really fun to look back on. Here’s our first ever post, if you want to take a look! We were trying to decide on our favourite posts….but we couldn’t decide! We have had so many posts ideas that we haven’t found time to do, but we have a list we’re going to work through!

If you’re thinking about starting a blog, here are the things we have failed on for you to learn from!

• Have a plan and be prepared. Know what kind of posts you want to share, and perhaps even have set days to post. (E.G Craft posts on Mondays, Recipes on Wednesdays, etc)
• When writing your posts, try to write them in advanced. Not last minute, like I am now! Be mindful of events coming up and make sure you publish them before the occasion – i.e Christmas, Easter, Summer, etc
• Share your posts lots to get them seen – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
• Proof read for mistakes – something we need to work on!

Is blogging worth it? Yes! Give it ago!
