
Halloween is coming up and so is Half Term! So we thought we would share with you a few of our favourite places to go around Cheshire. They have some fun things going on over the Halloween season!
1. Malpas Pick your Pumpkins and Halloween Spooktacular
We have been here for the 2 years and really enjoyed it! It’s a fun few hours that gets you feeling all autumnal and halloweeny (that’s a word…right!?). Here is some more information for you!
🎃 Open to the public 20th,21st,25th,26th,27th, 28th,29th,30th,31st October – NO BOOKING REQUIRED ON THESE DATES.
🎃 10am – 4pm (last entry 3.30pm).
🎃 Open for PRE BOOKED groups, nurseries and schools 22nd, 23rd & 24th October only.
🎃 PostCode SY13 4RA.
🎃 Follow our signs keep driving until you find our entrance to the field.
🎃 Dogs welcome on leads & please clean up after them.
🎃 Bring a bag for your pumpkin.
🎃 Pumpkins £3.50.

🎃 Over 3 acres of pumpkins to choose from!
🎃 Maize maze admission – £1 per person.
🎃 Bouncy Castle £1.50.
🎃 Toy mini diggers £1.50.
🎃 Crafts at pocket money prices.
🎃 Halloween shop.
🎃 Everything is in a field so wear suitable footwear!
🎃 You can get pushchairs through the maze.
2. Blakemere Village
Blakemere Village is a great place to visit anyway, but even better on special occasions!
Follow Blakemere’s spooky trail to discover the hidden items left here by the Zombie Pirates many years ago. For Each Activity Trail completed an Activity Prize will be won. Join in the Family Fun by dressing up as a Pirate.

3. Little Moreton Hall
We have been to Little Moreton Hall a few times and have always enjoyed our visit. Over Halloween you can discover how the Tudors celebrated Halloween and explore some of the smells of the season and take part in Hallowtide activities.
4. Stockley Farm
Stockley Farm is always fun to visit and during October half term the whole farm will have a spooky makeover! 🧙They will have a Witch who will be taking residence in a spooky house, ready to play trick or treat with those brave enough to venture in. 🎃You can carve your own pumpkins to take home (additional charge applies….availability according to supply). You can take part in fancy dress competitions, and enjoy a few treats (or tricks!) along the way!
All the activities are aimed at the youngsters and the focus is on having fun rather than being scared …well, not too scared!
October Half Term runs from Saturday 20th- Wednesday 31st October.

Evening Spooktaculars! Fancy experiencing terrifying twilight on the farm?! They offer an exclusive evening Spooktaculars… Your wonderfully wicked guide will ensure you have a frightfully good time during the two-and-a-half-hour experience
Catch the terribly thrilling tractor-trailer down to the farmEnjoy a devilishly delicious evening meal. Watch the magnificent owls fly at twilight. Carve your own petrifying pumpkin to take home. Help the witch find the missing ingredients for her spell on a terrifyingly terrific trail. Play a spooky game of trick-or-treat with the wicked witch herself! Burn off some steam in their eerie Indoor Play Barn

5. Quarry Bank
Quarry Bank always have fun things going on in the school holidays. This October half term you can dress up and ‘snap a spook’ or join in with haunting crafts.
Activities will take place at the Apprentice House and within the Learning Space
