Kedleston Hall

Yesterday we met up with some friends who we haven’t seen in a couple of years. We met up at a National Trust place in Derbyshire called Kedleston Hall. It’s a neo-classical mansion from the 1760’s. Wow!! It was stunning! Sadly the house was closed so we didn’t get to go inside, but the kids were more than happy to explore the outside! Everything about it was just gorgeous! The drive up to the house, the house, the grounds, the history….just amazing, all of it. The Hall was used as a key location for ‘The Duchess’, the Hollywood blockbuster starring Keira Knightley!

We thought we would share some of the few pictures we took from our fun time there.

It was great! A definite MUST SEE!

Have you been before? Do you like to visit National Trust or other historic places?
