Delamere Forest, Cheshire

We spent our last day of 2018 at Delamere Forest in Cheshire, England. We’ve not been there for a while, but always enjoy being there. It has a path so you can take buggys, bikes, etc. There are picnic benches by the car park and in the forest. You have to pay for parking and there is a café and other separate activities that you pay for. It’s a fun day out!

We went for a walk in the deep dark woods….and we found a creature with terrible tusks, terrible claws, terrible teeth and terrible jaws. He had knobbly knees and turned out toes and a poisonous wart at the end of his nose! …..have you guessed who it is yet?? Yep, the GRUFFALO!

We also had fun building a den! We love being outdoors and trying to teach the kids some survival skills….and I don’t think the kids will ever get bored of building dens!
