3 Valentine’s crafts for kids

We have been doing lots of valentines day crafts and activities lately.

We made cards by using pink and red hearts cut out of paper, green paper for the stems and card, glue and pens. You can write whatever message you want to. This was Freckled Face number 4’s card to Daddy! The kids thought it would be funny to put “Roses are Red, Violets are blue…I just wanted to say thank you for cleaning up my poo!” Little sickos! So gross.

These are 2 in 1 craft! The kids couldn’t decide if these were flowers or wands to spread the love…so we decided they could be both! We used pink card, glue, buttons and sparkles and lollipop sticks. Cut the heart shapes out of the card and stick them to the lollipop sticks. Then decorate how you wish!

Little woolen hearts! So easy and cheap to make! All you need is some card, scissors and red (or whatever your preference) wool.  We cut heart shapes out of the card and then wrapped the wool around until all the card was covered (leaving about 4 inches out at the start, so that we could tie it off later). We are going to make some of these and make them into bunting decorations!

What do you think? Which one is your favourite? We had lots of fun making these crafts, and we hope you do too!

Thanks for reading!
