When I make activities up for the kids, I try to do the same activity but vary the difficulty for the different abilities. I don’t want to make extra work for myself….but at the same time I don’t want to give my kids an easy life – after all, they don’t give me one!
I designed this activity to help Freckled Face number 4 learn her numbers. I adapted it to make it a little harder for the others – using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
The idea is to put the number of apples on the tree for the easier one. For the harder ones you write a sum, they work out the answer and then put that amount of apples on the tree.
These sheets can either be used for finger painting (or using a brush, pom pom, whatever else you fancy) or you can laminate them and use them as play dough mats or use dry wipe pens on them.
Here are some blank ones for you to use.

Division Tree
We hope you enjoy them!
These are great! Thanks for sharing!
